Morphing:
Ivar's capabilities as a morpher are slightly different than those of other Animorphs. Like the auxiliary Animorphs, because his mind is stronger because of his disabled body, he can master the instincts of the animals a little bit faster and better. He doesn't have a preference yet on what he goes for in morphs, but eventually, he'll settle on animals that have great agility and strength. He also has no compunctions about acquiring human beings.

NPCs
-Winter Istrid Regis Ivarsdottir, Letha's daughter from her husband Aristeo. Left in Ivar's care when Letha left to go his world, Ivar considers himself to be her father. He's fiercely protective of the little albino baby, who is oddly quiet, and possessed of the even odder ability to steal life force from anything living, called being a healer in Letha's world. Eventually, she'll learn how to put that energy back in, but for now, it tends to be an instinctive process when she's upset or scared. The only one she doesn't do this to is her father, whom she seems to associate with love and comfort.
-Skinfaxi the Ponyta. The first Pokemon Ivar caught, Skinfaxi was a little foal when Ivar first found him. Nervous and shy, he was prone to setting things on fire when upset. As he grew older and began to get bigger, he learned to trust Ivar implicitly, and while he's still quiet shy around new people, the only way to get him angry and actually use his attacks is to harm his master. Ivar plans to train him to pull his chariot when he's ready.
-Hrimfaxi the Blitzle. The second Pokemon Ivar has, he came into possession of her after battling the Blitzle in the forest with Skinfaxi. Older and at a higher level that Skinfaxi, she's got a lot of common sense for a Pokemon, and respects Ivar for being able to catch her with a low level Pokemon. After Dodger attacked him, she's basically turned into a mother hen, fussing over her master constantly and trying to protect him at all times.
-Spring the Phantump. The third Pokemon, he was originally caught by Letha after she befriended him. Left to Ivar after she left him to go to Kattegat, he's a gluttonous and outright cowardly little Pokemon. He rarely does as he's told, but that's mainly because Letha let him walk all over her. He's found a much sterner owner in Ivar, whose determined to make the little haunted stump earn his keep.
Senses Info
-Sight
Ivar has bright blue eyes (that he inherited from his father), with the sclera a pale blue as well thanks to his brittle bone disease. His hair is a light brown and styled into something between a mushroom cut and a mohawk. He tends to wear it either facing forward or slicked back. Clothing-wise, he tends to wear dark colors in styles from home, browns and blacks, with a pair of leather and metal arm braces that help support his arms. He prefers layers since its easier to hide weapons in them. He's shown to have a necklace that has some particular meaning to him, for he's never seen taking it off.
Ivar is found most often sitting, either directly on the ground or in his wheelchair. While he can stand as long as he has something sturdy enough to support himself, it's rare he finds a reason to, since his legs can't physically support his own weight, so he's entirely reliant on his arms. He tends to use a wheelchair to get around, but due to his comfort level with it not being all that great, sometimes he'll just switch to crawling around when it seems easier. Usually, he has either his sword or ax strapped to his back, with two knives hidden on him. While his upper body has great muscular tone from crawling most of his life, his legs have almost none whatsoever.
-Smell
Surprisingly clean for someone living in the Dark Ages of Europe. Vikings are a fastidious lot when it comes to personal grooming and take regular baths. He does spurn the use of soap, so it's more of a natural, human scent than anything else.
-Hearing
He has a curious accent that doesn't sound particularly like any one nation from Europe, though the closest thing it resembles is a Scandinavian or Norwegian one. (Or Asgardian when compared to Marvel 616 characters.) It tends to get a little thicker when he's angry or tired. He's not particularly loud or deep in tone when he speaks, but his voice tends to carry a note of confidence. When he gets angry, sometimes his voice drops down to a dangerously soft tone.
-Touch
His hands are very calloused and rough from a lifetime of dragging himself from place to place. Overall, his upper body is muscular enough to give an onlooker a sense that he's pretty tough, though he has very little in the way of scars over his body. His hair is usually kept in a pretty good condition, though there might be product in it on days when he slicks it back.
-Taste
Good question. Anyone want to lick him and find out?
